About This Tour
Explore the enchanting Amalfi Coast
There is a legend that tells of a tormented love between Hercules and the nymph Amalfi. The two young lovers were deeply in love, but fate was cruel to them, and when the nymph died prematurely, the hero wanted to bury his beloved in one of the most beautiful places in the world, surrounded by nature and crystal-clear waters. Our tour will begin in Ravello, known as the city of music for its traditional music festival. Here, we will visit Villa Cimbrone, one of the most beautiful garden villas along the entire coast. We will admire one of the most iconic views from the famous Terrace of Infinity, a splendid terrace adorned with busts and statues, also used for various film sets. After visiting the gardens, we will move and descend to Amalfi, where we will explore the village and stroll through its narrow streets. We will climb up to the Valley of the Mills, where we will visit the Paper Museum. Here, we will discover the origin, history, and production of one of the world's finest papers. A stop to taste gelato, sorbet, or a lemon delight is a must. Here, the lemon is called "sfusato" for its elongated shape and its unmistakable scent.

Tour Plan
Expand allCollapse allVilla Cimbrone
The villa dates back to the 11th century and was originally built as a fortified dwelling. Over the centuries, it passed through various noble families until it was purchased by the English lord William Beckett in the late 19th century. One of the most fascinating features of Villa Cimbrone is its magnificent gardens. The park boasts a wide range of flora, including flowers, imposing cypresses, and fragrant citrus groves. The most iconic spot in the gardens is the Terrace of Infinity, a panoramic terrace offering breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast. This terrace is adorned with classical statues and marble busts.
Amalfi
The historic center of Amalfi is the pulsating heart of this charming coastal town located along the famous Amalfi Coast. One of the most iconic features of Amalfi's center is its majestic Cathedral of St. Andrew (Duomo di Amalfi). This architectural masterpiece dates back to the 9th century and is a splendid fusion of Romanesque, Baroque, and Moorish styles. The façade, decorated with frescoes and mosaics, stands out against the blue sky, while the richly decorated interior houses relics of St. Andrew the Apostle. The picturesque streets of the historic center are lined with cafes, boutiques, and local craft shops, where you can purchase traditional ceramics, limoncello, and other typical souvenirs of the region.
Paper Museum
In this fascinating museum, we will discover the millennia-old history of Amalfi's handmade paper production, which dates back to the Middle Ages and has made the city famous worldwide. The museum is housed in an ancient mill, where we can immerse ourselves in the fascinating process of handmade paper production, discovering the ancient techniques used by Amalfi's paper masters and being ourselves the protagonists, trying to simulate one of the processes.
