About This Tour
An exciting journey through authentic flavors and culinary traditions in the heart of Southern Italy.
We will visit the Santo Dairy and immerse ourselves in the artisanal production of mozzarella. From the pastures to the buffalo pavilions, we will discover the life cycle of these fascinating creatures and ecological sustainability thanks to the innovative biogas plant. We will savor the unique taste of fresh mozzarella while being shown its artisanal production and processing.
The tour will then continue to another location to taste baked goods. We will enjoy casatiello, a traditional Campanian dish, a pizza stuffed with cheeses and cold cuts, and we will also see its preparation. In addition to casatiello, we will taste a selection of pizzas, savory pastries, and stuffed focaccias, prepared with fresh and genuine ingredients.

We will arrive at the farm where a guide will tell us and show us the history of the family and how they have grown crop cultivation and animal care. We will visit the buffalo paddocks, the biogas plant, the milking parlor, and the calf barn.
Santo Dairy
The pleasant welcome by the staff will be accompanied by a practical demonstration of mozzarella preparation.
Tasting
We will taste dairy products such as mozzarella, caciocavallo, ricotta, a slice of bread with local oil, accompanied by a glass of wine.
We will taste casatiello and a varied selection of baked goods such as pizzas, savory pastries, and stuffed focaccias.
Bakery and Laboratory
We will visit the bakery and the laboratory where we will be shown the preparation process of casatiello, a rustic dish typical of the Campanian Easter tradition.
