About This Tour

The emerging neighborhood

Passeggiata nel quartiere della Sanità dove scopriremo l’autenticità della vita quotidiana napoletana. Un quartiere emergente che custodisce, volti, sapori, storia, cultura e rinascita. Il tour inizierà con la visita alle catacombe di San Gennaro e san Gaudioso, le più antiche Catacombe d’Europa. Le Catacombe di San Gaudioso, sono inglobate alla maestosa Basilica di Santa Maria della Sanità, con annesso anche “Il Presepe Favoloso”, un meraviglioso presepe tipico dell’arte napoletana settecentesca. Proseguiremo poi nel cuore della Sanità, passando per il colorato Vicolo della cultura e fermandoci contemplando il Murales dedicato a Totò principe e attore napoletano, i cui natali sono proprio di questo quartiere. Proseguiremo poi alla visita di due palazzi settecenteschi, luoghi di numerosi set cinematografici; Palazzo san Felice e Palazzo dello Spagnuolo. Concluderemo la nostra passeggiata al mercato dei vergini, mercato a cielo aperto molto caratteristico e folkloristico.
